If your SASSA banking details have changed, or you want to switch from Postbank or CashSend to a personal bank account, you can update your SASSA payment method online.

  1. Go to https://srd.sassa.gov.za
  2. Scroll down to “How do I change my banking details?”
  3. Enter your ID number and click Submit
  4. SASSA will send you a secure link to your registered cellphone number
  5. Click the link and follow the steps to:
    • Select your bank
    • Enter your account number
    • Confirm and submit
